Are you kidding me?!!  How incredibly cool was it of Damon to tweet birthday greetings!  It wasn’t the Boss’s first tweet from Damon – he also tweeted him about Boss’s petition to have a LOST attraction at Disneyland.  I nevertheless felt I needed to ask the Boss for permission to tell people that I knew him.

More LOST Character Miis for Your Nintendo Wii

I’ve been having a great time working out with my Island friends (to see the Miis created last spring, click here) on my Nintendo Wii Fit, but I realized as I was jogging around the Wii Fit Island that there are a lot of characters missing from my sideways there.   Time to make some more.  Here they are, made to look the way I think they’d look in my sideways, all happy and getting fit on the island together.  If you’d like to add these characters to your Nintendo Wii Mii Plaza, so that they will show up in some of your Wii games, download the Check Mii Out Channel on the main Wii screen (it’s free), then click on Posting Plaza.  Click on “Popular” at the bottom of the screen, then the magnifying glass at the bottom (“Search”).  At the top of the “Set Conditions” screen, click on the arrows button on the top right (it says “Change” when you hover over it).  Then click the “Enter #” button and enter the number of the Mii you’d like to check out, and maybe add to your Mii collection.  Namaste!

As you regular readers know, one of my favorite tweeting LOST production members is Mark Goldman, because he’s so gracious about interacting with fans like us.  He has been an editor on Undercovers, but since that show is just about done, we’ve all been wondering what was next for him.  Well…

First off, as I’ve continually posted for months here on TOTW, the new film TRON: Legacy was written by Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, who wrote several of my favorite episodes of LOST.  There were understandably a lot of LOSTie tweets about the premiere on Friday, starting with Adam’s:

LOST Character Miis for Your Wii

If you have a Nintendo Wii system you know that the avatars you can create for it are called Miis.  You are given a number of choices with hair, eyes, etc, and you can also choose shirt color and give them a name.  I’ve created these Miis for my Wii to look like some LOST characters and posted them on the Check Mii Out Channel, where anyone with a Wii can see them and even copy them to their own systems if they want.
My apologies, there are a limited number of hair styles, etc., so I am continually tweaking them.  If you copied my previous characters, they have all changed but retained the same number, so you would need to re-favorite them if you prefer the updated Miis.  Also, since these photos are of my tv screen, there are some limitations there as well, especially as to color.

All of the Miis on your Wii system will show up in random games.  For me, it’s Wii Fit.  It is so much fun to throw a snowball at Ben while I’m playing Snowball Fight or ride past Richard when I’m doing Island Cycling! If you want to see them on your own system, go to the Check Mii Out Channel on Wii and search the numbers of the characters:

My thoughts and prayers to all who have been affected by the earthquake in Chile and the resulting tsunami.  Though for many it ended up being a “dodged bullet,” hundreds were killed and many more were injured or lost homes.  It is to be taken with a sigh of relief that, in Hawaii, it ended up being a non-event.  Until that was certain, however, we were all very concerned about what might happen to our beloved LOST cast and crew who were there.

Having so stated, this is an interesting read.  Damon and Carlton were understandably concerned about their cast and crew’s welfare, @aohora was tweeting about what was actually going on in Hawaii, and @gjacksbeard’s had another perspective on the situation.  FYI, @aohora is a rabid LOSTie and a contributor to LOSTblog who lives in Hawaii, and of course @gjacksbeard is the Twitter account for Jorge Garcia and Beth:
aohora – Network/LOST production don’t NEED an evacuation plan! Grass Skirt Prod isn’t in the zone and they can just cancel shooting everywhere else.
gjacksbeard – Just woke up to tsunami sirens. Heading to higher ground like Stevie Wonder.
CarltonCuse – To ALL on the LOST crew — responding to the Tsunami warning — safe refuge is available at the studio.
